Diverse Civil were engaged as the main civil contractor for the Beerenberg Farm expansion.

Our scope of works included:

Bulk Earthworks – in order to create a level platform for the new building slab, a large scale cut and fill operation saw us excavating to approximately 7 metres deep on the high side of the land, then respreading the site-won soil as fill several meters high on the lower side. We carried this out during a very wet winter, which created less than ideal conditions for this type of work – despite this, we were still successfully able to deliver a top quality finished project.

Our work at Beerenberg also included the complete construction of a various new asphalt car parks, resurfacing of the existing unsealed main carpark, installation of several hundred metres of underground stormwater infrastructure (mainly reinforced concrete pipe and pits), construction of a bioretention basin and detention basin, various tank pads, swales, building pad prep, detailed batter formation, and the construction/preparation of various pavements.
